Where We Do Things?

Our core programme is SchoolAid4Zambia unless a donor requests an alternative destination.

We have two centres for our work in Zambia and have sent Literacy Boxes to 45 schools there, in and around the capital, Lusaka and up in the Eastern Province in the South Luangwa Valley.

Our logistics partner Operation Sunshine has also worked in Zimbabwe and Tanzania and up until seven years ago. We have however, sent Literacy Boxes until the political situation worsened, it made it impossible to continue working thereThe Philippines has also received Literacy Boxes through our SchoolAid4Philippines programme.   A Rotary project in 2016 between the clubs of Enniskillen (Northern Ireland) and Antipolo (near Manila) was a wonderful example of collaboration, ensuring six schools in and around Antipolo benefited from school materials they otherwise would not have had. In addition, a school in Tondo , Manila built out of old shipping containers and run by the Purple Community Fund  have received Literacy Boxes from as far back as 2010. See the Project section

Over the years, individuals and Rotary Clubs have also sent Literacy Boxes to support projects in Nepal, Ghana, Kenya, the Gambia, Burkina Faso and South Africa.
