Our volunteers are our people and the lifeblood of Literacy in a Box. The passion and enthusiasm of these people to help the orphaned and desperately poor children with schooling is frankly, humbling  …

We have volunteers, some we enlist as ambassadors, who promote our work, helping us create the awareness needed in the public eye to generate the donations essential to fund our work. We would love more volunteer ambassadors.We also have local volunteers who help us to create and pack our Literacy Boxes which are sent through our logistics partners to children overseas.

Our Trustees manage the day to day running of the charity as a business, but with one difference – every penny donated goes to the creation and sending of Literacy Boxes.

We are grateful to all who give of their time and skills, however we would love to hear from anyone who has the will and time to help us in a variety of ways. If you would like to volunteer please contact us through info@literacyboxtrust.org.uk
